Here are some screen shots from the trailer. Too bad they couldn't get Edward Norton to play Bruce Banner again. superherohype.com

Don't like Stark slapping Thor's arm and giving him the 'mean swing' line. He's a fucking god, twit. Show a little respect.

But, yeah, Renner as Hawkeye sounds good!

Could be way off base but I still feel like Hank and Janet Pym are gonna be in there somewhere.

Yep, looking forward to this....

No matter how much they stray from the comics. It is annoying and disappointing, but I'm just glad to see it on the big screen.

Isn't there a new Hulk movie coming out before Avengers?

Too bad.

I saw a trailer for the newest Spider-man movie at the theater a few weeks ago. The visuals of him swinging and running across rooftops from his point of view were cool. He looks like a more "emo" Spiderman but the comic always was half soap opera. It looks like they are doing the origin AGAIN. I'm a little tired of them doing the origin movie over and over for characters like Spider Man and Superman. Are there really people going to these movies that don't know about the radioactive spider or Krypton blowing up? We don't see Abner Doubleday in every baseball movie. Seems like the origin could be run through in the credits and we could see a new story, but I guess Hollywood thinks the origin movies are "safer."

If that's the second from the bottom pic, he's Hawkeye.

No. That is Jeremy Renner from SWAT, The Hurt Locker, and The Town.

I just can't see Ruffalo taking the helm from Norton. Damn.

Here are some cool videos of Captain America and Thor filming on the Avengers set in Cleveland. I think it's cool the way the car flies
when Thor hits it.

The guys in the grey suits are rumoured to be fill ins for the alien Skrull race.

Not anymore. Now he's an alien that was given "god" status long ago because the indigenous people knew no other way to describe what they saw.

Liked Cap's uniform in his own movie better than the new duds.

Ruffalo is supposed to be more in line with the '70's portrayal of Bruce Banner. I'll keep hope because of the rest of the cast, but Norton owned the role IMO. Don't have high expectations for Ruffalo though.

Not quite sure I caught all that Alien stuff. One of us is mis-understanding something. As far as I know Thor is still a god. Asgard and Midgard and so and and so forth aren't planets they are like realms. The gods live in a different realm than people. They came down to Midgard to and Humans saw them being extraordinary. The whole Asgard and Midgard thing still follows Norse Mythology.

it was pretty well covered in the Thor movie, they were believed to have been gods because their technology was taken as magic because that is was it looks like to less advanced species.

I'm still not quite sure they were trying to imply that they were Aliens. I guess I just assumed they were implying that they are part of a different race or something. I don't think they were taking away from them being norse gods.

I'll have to watch it again, I've been wrong before.
