Found this in an old Bible at my mom's house.

Picked up an old King James Bible that was the standard issue from Lester Roloff's church in Corpus Christi, Texas (my sister lived at the Rebeka Home for Girls for a couple of years way back when) and found this poem inside:

I dreamt that death came the other night
And heaven's gates swung wide,
With kindly grace an angel came
And ushered me inside,
And there to my astonishment
Stood folks I'd known on earth,
Some I had judged as quite unfit
Or of but little worth.
Indignant words rose to my lips
But never were set free
For every face showed stunned surprise...
No one expected ME.

I really need to be more aware of my judgement towards others and give it a rest.

Heard this in church a few weeks ago. Thought it was pretty good!

Don't we all, try as we might to be otherwise?

One of the hardest things I've ever had to come to terms with and accomplish. But, it seems the older I get, the easier it becomes, not being judgemental.
