Backstory: On saturday I shot a deer with my bow. I waited about 20minutes before I started to persue it, I was excited because this would be my first archery kill. While I was waiting I prayed, thanked God for the life I took, the opportunity to spend time in his creation and lastly thanked him for helping with my patience. Had I been my normal rushed self I may have not taken the deer. Well to make a long story short, I didnt wait long enough and pushed the deer off of her bed... searched for 4.5hrs..... no deer

What Im getting at is that I felt like God said "hey your doing good and your so close.... but you still have some work to do" Had I waited a little longer, my reward would be in the freezer and I wouldnt have had to work so hard afterward.

I have been making a conscience effort to control my impatience and internal anger. I never act on it, but I give the enemy a foothold sometimes and he eats me up with anger and lies until I realize where my head is at. This stems from politics and admitedly small conflicts with loved ones.

So I googled patience bible vers and got this:
Psalm 37:7-9
Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes. Stop being angry! Turn from your rage! Do not lose your temper—it only leads to harm. For the wicked will be destroyed, but those who trust in the Lord will possess the land.

That spoke right to my heart, sometimes I feel like I get impatient and dont put my trust in God's schedule. If anyone hunts or spends time in the woods I HIGHLY recomend Steve Chapman's "A look at life from a deerstand" and "Another look at life from a deerstand"

Never, never, never, never pray for patience.

You will get plenty of opportunities to practice and recieve a bountiful supply.
