Just read in Car Craft that he passed away on Jan. 11 of kidney failure.
We lost another great one along with Ronnie Sox.

When did Ronnie Sox die?

I just saw him last fall at a car show and had him autograph two pictures of him racing one of the old Sox & Martin cars. How sad.

Not sure of the exact date and Car Craft and Hot Rod sure don't make it easy to find in their mags.
google however..

Wow it must have been a lot longer since I saw him. He was with two of his sons at a decent car show and they were selling and signing pictures and drawings of his car leaving the line at a few old drag strips. I had a feeling that it might be my only op. so I bought two and thanked him.
