Looking to ship a vehicle from Phoenix AZ area to anywhere (cheapest place) along the I-75 between Cincinnati and Atlanta.

Has anyone used a good shipping service they could recommend? Quick look puts it at about $850. I was hoping for <$500...

I shipped a car from Chicago to Las Cruces, NM (50 miles north of El Paso) about 8 years ago and it cost me about 950. That was on an open trailer, a closed trailer will cost much more, but if the car is special then do it that way. I don't remember who I used , but I did it through my mover at the time. Gary

Have you seen that show on A&E called Shipping Wars? You put up what you would like to ship on a site called U-Ship, then different carriers will bid on it. The lowest bid wins. You could try that.

The cheapest would be a Drive Away service...

Look on U-ship for examples.

I would find a real commercial carrier like DAS.

If your the adventurist type make a post in GD. You will have your driver/shipper in no time.

Thanks guys.

The vehicle is an '02 Dakota, nothing special. I'm giving it to my FIL because he needs a good truck (insert Dodge joke here...).

I'll check out the recommendations posted.

Thanks!

I used Uship.com to have a crew cab Duramax delivered from Almogordo New Mexico to Sacramento, CA for $450 back in 2010. Great service from the guy that took the job.
