Experience with new Triumphs?
Looking at used, newer triumphs (2000 up).
2002-2007 Sprints mainly, but some of the others also.
Anyone have any experience with them, longevity, reliability, ease of maintenance, etc?

Cant beat a 1050 triple.
superb motor.
ease of maint. on a Sprint?
look at all the plastic, then re-ask that question.
The Sprint is a great deal
I had a 2000 with 2001 wheels...it makes it easy to spot when it comes up on craigs list. Thanks to a shitty BMW driver it has a cracked frame and other cosmetic damage.
Prior to that it was an awesome bike; but to get it to that point I had to make some upgrades to it i.e. brakes, tuning, heating, ect. I would ride it almost every day to work, summer and winter. When I get to the point where I'm able to get another bike the Sprint will be in the top 3 contenders.
My 2004 Triumph Sprint RS 955 was the best engine ever. Smooth, powerful, and 46 mpg. I'd still have it except the sport riding position was hard on my neck and shoulders.
i don't know what your calling new. I have a 98 Trophy. Fun but bulky. Some things are kinda dumb on it though. You have to pull the carbs to change the air filters.
They will never be top performers in their class.
I love my Triumph, its a 2005 Tiger 955i and it takes me anywhere I want to go. No problems so far I have had it almost a year and put about 10000 miles on it in that time including a 4 month brake for back surgery. I've taken it on several long trips already one of them 2 up with no problems and it will be going on a 2000 mile trip 2 up here in May.

Let's see ... I have a 2009 Speed Triple, 2010 Thruxton, and 2011 Thunderbird Storm.
Never had a single issue with the Speed Triple.
The Thruxton had an oil drip that required I replace the crush washer on the oil pan bolt (assembler probably got a little over torque happy).
The Thunderbird squirted some coolant on the front of my engine last Friday afternoon. Come to find out it is a known issue that the coolant hoses aren't tightened well at the factory. Tightened and now good to go.
Compared to my VRod that I replaced with the Speed Triple the Triumphs have been most excellent. And what I really love about them is so few people have them they are actually unique.
