Imagine my shock when Denny Hansen told me he was going to run my article "Facing The Blade" in the August issue.
It was a lot of fun writing the article, taking the pics, and dealing with Denny to get the article published. Very exciting and humbling, as well.
Facing hostile people who are armed with sharp weapons can be a daily hazard of my job, working in a prison.
