AUG 06 Issue
So it seems that one of the folks over at SWAT seems to build on Model1 kits (Tony Albaceli Aug 06 issue). I have seen a lot of bashing in the past of the kits.
But the article that really caught my attention is the "Replacement Gun", the points are things that I had been doing subconsciously with the 1911s but I have neglected to follow through with my SIG.
The basic premise for those that have not read the article:
Have an exact duplicate of your carry gun, use the second for putting in time at classes and the range so that you develop the skill with that weapon, but are not destroying your carry piece or you have an exact spare should your gun go down.
There were some other considerations in that article as well.
I am not a regular reader of SWAT but something about this issue made me want to read it, I was drawn in by the AR Kit article, and Polands GROM.
