Mr. Lucibella (ETA: or Mr. Hansen),
As the title implies, what was that about? Personally, I think it was rather childish of both manufacturers to use that particular section of SWAT Magazine as a forum with which to further their agendas and ultimately, generate more sales. To be honest with you, the only party that handled the situation maturely was your editing staff.
Don't get me wrong, I hold both FNH-USA and H-S Precision in the highest regards and I think they both manufacture superb products; my qualm lies with their poor PR decisions.
What say you Rich?
Thanks for listening.
Regards,
Justin
Justin-
FWIW, I honestly do not know. HS Precision is a superlative manufacturer (and major advertiser) who took exception to some of FN's claims in our piece. We printed their response.
FN is a superlative manufacturer (and nearly never advertiser) who took exception to HS's exception. We printed their reply.
I got tired of seeing my Editor-n-Partner being put in the middle so I stepped out of character and responded....directly. HS's advertising campaign is up and they may or may not be back. From my read, that will honestly have nothing to do with the original coverage.
FN's advertising campaign has never started.....look for a feature from us in the next issue on the FiveseveN pistol......because it's worthy.
Is that any way to run a magazine? Denny and I think so. The rest of the world may prove us wrong.
Rich
ps: Call me "Mr" Lucibella again and I will dispatch Louis Awerbuck to your home to torture your favorite pet!

From Yavapi, correct? I'll be sure to clean up before he stops by.

Thanks for the quick response Rich.
I look forward to the FiveseveN eval.
Take care and God bless.
