NFL Pro Bowl before the superbowl. Why?

not that the pro bowl really matters, but why do it prior to the superbowl?
No one from the superbowl teams are going to play in it as there's no way they'd risk an injury before the superbowl in a game that doesn't matter
I'm not even sure players from the superbowl teams will fly out for it

I agree i thinks its stupid but I think the NFL does is to create a buzz for the game with having all the NFL stars in town before the game to promote it and create a media buzz.

Since nobody watched it since the game didn't matter and the season was over.they figured they would air it in the week befor the super bowl when no games where on.
