I never saw one one here so I started one...

I for one am disappointed in the way the boys are playing this year. That last game on 10/10/10 was a great game, that is until they flagged the TD in the 4th with 4mins left, that extra point would've given the boys a gain....

It's time to cut Wade Phillips. The Cowboys Superbowl window is closing fast. This team needs discipline. It needs the scare factor that Jimmy provided when he was coach.Where if you make stupid mistakes you get cut.Plain and Simple.

I agree Wade needs to be let go and give Garret a chance at it if he is the golden boy.

The special teams ddint help much either............

The problem with firing Wade is Jerry will just put another yes man in his place. Discipline (lack of ) is their main downfall.

The problem is that Wade doesn't have the final say. We have Jerry for that. As long as he meddles in the team the head coach will just be a talking head.
How many other head coaches can't fire their offensive coordinator?

Cowboy fan for 4/5 of my life.
took Mrs808 to Jerry's World to watch the Skins in 09. my only pro game.
fortunately, the Cowboys managed to score under two minutes and eeked a win 7-6.

[rant on]
I think that the window has closed by two years. last year was our chance.
the only time that the boys win is that do-or-die game, when Wade's job is on the line.
just like a boxing match –– you go to win! prepare for it!
Take NO last year. very impressive, Philly twice-in-a-row (3-0 for the year),
until they rested on their laurels at the Vikes.

Texans?
the games that they are heavy underdogs, many lose betting against the Boys, but the sure bets? they fargin lose again

At the beginning of the year, many picked NO, GB, and Dallas as Superbowl favorites, not necessarily in that order.
The Cowboys have the ingredients, if only the chefs could cook
it's possible that they can turn it around, but IMO, the only way that the Cowboys will be at home for the Superbowl is if they buy tickets.

week six at the Vikes?
even though MN looked in disarray @ Jets, and Moss is still adjusting
the Boys will outsmart themselves again, and come away 1-4 (thank god for the bye)
hate to be negative, but I would rather be surprised than disappointed......
I'm going to the range instead

don't know the Dallas politics, but I have talked to people from Dallas,
and it's amazing how many despise JJ
we shoulda got Shanahan when we had the chance
[rant off]

good to see 11 is doing as advertised,
and the kicker saved 4 returns for TDs

Romo out for the year. Goodbye, season. Well, it was already gone, but still...

Kitna was rusty off of the bench, but was much better after the half.
they adapted, and did better. maybe getting reps will help.
during the pre-season, he impressed me.

at least the penalties were minimal - better discipline.
now we need to work on the blocking....

Yeah Kitna might do good with more reps during practice.

1. They're 1-5 and cooked. Burnt. They're screwed. For the rest of the season, I'll be watching Dez Bryant progress and Demarcus Ware continue to dominate.

2. Wade Phillips deserves to be fired. In Dallas' last 4 losses the opposing team has scored point totals of 27, 34, 24, and 41. Not only is this unacceptable, but when you consider that this defense has a front seven that contains Ware, Spencer, Ratliff, James, and Brooking as well as a secondary with the likes or Terence Newman (who is much better than most Cowboy fans give him credit for) and Mike Jenkins, it's simply absurd. Are Marcus Spears, Igor Olshanksy, Gerald Sensabaugh and Alan Ball all shit players? No. They've all proven more than capable in the past. So what has to be wrong? The guy calling the defense. These point totals are unacceptable with the players we have on that side of the ball.

3. They should not have cut Ken Hamlin. Yes, Hamlin made mistakes once in awhile, but he was the quarterback of this secondary, and his presence has been missed.

4. Dez Bryant is just downright better than his opponent. When he gets a little experience under his belt, look out.

Just read this in an article :

Wade Phillips doesn't think these Cowboys players need to be chewed out, which is probably debatable. But if that is indeed the solution, don't expext Phillips to be the guy to do it.It's just not his style. Never has been, and never will be, even at 1-6."We got things going the previous three years without doing that," Phillips said. "I don't think cussing a guy out is necessarily going to make him play any better, especially the way they feel."But we will tell them if they made mistakes and what mistakes they made and what they need to correct them, and that's what you do coaching-wise. And how you get it across to them is different with all coaches

This is more embarrassing than the Vikings. Even though they pulled through today, it was an all or nothing game. If they lost that their season was over, which still holds true next week.

The Cowboys are literally the worst team in the NFL right now. The Bills could kick their ass

They need a coach and a QB change. Kicking the owners ass out wouldn't hurt either.

the entire coaching staff needs axed, garret is not the answer. They have talent, they lack any sort of discipline.

pretty pathetic.

but something has to be done about the officiating.
Green Bay gets the touchdown even tho they are six inches shy.
Dallas loses a challenge, then a few plays later,
a kick return is "fumbled" for a GB TD.

clearly, the boys got spanked,
but the officials are more crooked than the fargin politicians

it's hard to be a fan of the NFL

I agree with that. The officiating at the end of last year and all of this year has been worse than I can ever remember.

I agree as well. Even as a Jets fan, I was in awe of some wretched calls that the refs administered to the Lions yesterday, in addition to their standard procedure of fucking the Jets over. The crews that did the Jets/Denver game and the Jets/Ravens game were supremely laughable for both teams too.

"I figured it out.. If we win all our next games we will have a change for a wild card....Question is do we want it...I might rather want to run around on the field and drop the friggin ball or maybe miss all my passes, yup that sounds better than a superbowl ring.."

I don't really blame Roy Williams,
gotta admit - that was an excellent defensive play.
11 struggled when he first got to Dallas,
he took it hard, and really made an effort to do right.
lately - IMHO - he's been doing good by me.

few bad throws,
another oh shit was the tying FG.
oh well.

My two grumbles were the mistakes and slow start in the 1/4,
and why does a team not retain challenges when they overturn bad calls?

anywayz, for a time there,
I'm quite sure that most of America was indeed thinking that the Boys would upset the Saints......
20 unanswered points?

Magnificent Valor!

Why the hell not? All he had to do was hold on to the ball and the Boys would have won the game. Maybe it's just me but when a guy is getting paid a few million a year to catch a ball I tend to expect him to hold on to the damn thing also.
Screw Roy Williams and I hope Austin takes a dump in his fucking locker!

You really ought to be more worried about your own team and why they amost lost to the Cowboys. Brees looked like shit, Colston is a mere fraction of what he was. If it wasn't for Chris Ivory the Saint would really be in trouble, and quite honestly I'm still not sure they're not. So enjoy this win that they got off of a Cowboy's mistake and certainly not from thier own doing. Everyone that watched the game knows the Saints lost it. Looks like you have a long road ahead of you.

Dallas didn't secure the the ball, or the victory. Ball security is elementary, and Malcolm Jenkins made a hell of a play to help his team win.

I'll try to remember your sage analysis when we're in the playoffs.
