GeForce 295 would be more than a GeForce 570 but not quit a GeForce 580. It would not have DirectX 11 and Tesla support.

If you are shopping for a card bang for dollar GeForce 560Ti you can always and a 2nd one later.
only one slot for video. plus thay 560 is way outta my price range. im not a huge gamer, just loking for something thay will get me by for a few years. may just keep the 295 for now.
Your not a gamer and thinking you can get by for now with a 295 ?? Cad or something? Isnt the 295 just 2x 275's boards put together? Heck Ive been running twin 285's 1281-AR about since they been out and haven't had any need to even think of upgrading and still gaming..
im very out of the loop on modern graphics cards. just want something to run the occassional flight sim for the next few years. maybe a fps once in a while.
granted I haven't yet tried any of the newest games but my gtx260 has handled everything I've thrown at it so I passed on upgrading it when newegg had one of the 500 something models on sale recently
if it was me I'd wait until I got a game that the card couldn't handle and then see what was available, by then they'll likely be cheaper especially if nvidia has come out with 6xx series by then
