I've got a Samsung Skyrocket (Galaxy S2) and I seem to constantly have VM issues, either not receiving them, receiving them under the wrong contact name, or receiving them hours after they were left.
The phone came with the Visual VM app pre-installed and it seems to leave a lot desired with the constant issues, I tried Google Voice and it didn't get along well with the pre-installed Visual VM. Sometime I would get the VM in Visual VM, sometimes in Google Voice, sometimes I would have to dial my VM box.
Anyone have a remedy for this? Should I just jump completely into Google Voice and uninstall my Visual?
Thanks in advance.

Are you running GB?
There are a lot of voicemail apps in the Market. Uninstall the one that came with your phone and try a different one. If it doesn't uninstall there is always the CM7 route.
I'm personally leaning toward my Goggle Voice number being the only one out in the wild.
I had Visual VM on my Droid X... and, I have it on my new Droid Razr Maxx. Never had a problem with it.
Ditch voicemail from the carrier and use google voice.
