Anyone here in the know? Any signs of recovery from the floods, ramping up of production, etc? Any forecasts as to when we can expect prices to drop?

they are coming down, I bought a 3tb Seagate right before the flooding for $179, it was up to $429 and they are now $229 at newegg and available

My new work computer from Dell is being delayed 30-90 days because their hard drive supplier can't get any drives

I was going to replace a drive in my older computer the other day. I bought a 320GB WD drive 2 years ago for $50, same one today is at $120 on newegg.

I'd really be surprised if they came down to the pre-flood prices within the next 6 months. Hope I'm wrong though.
