 Local Eagle Nest

Courtship activity is starting, as well as some yearly nest building. Got this shot the other day at a nest I watch. I was surprised to see both birds there so early. Another nest in my area is broadcast on a webcam, based on that nest they usually lay eggs in mid February. Nest is about 45 yards from the road, lots of people watch it and there's a small turnout on the opposite side of the road from the nest. Pic taken from the turnout, resting the camera on the roof of my car. Camera is a Nikon CoolpixL120. I really want to get another DSLR but the lenses I'd for what I want to do are well out of my price range. For the $200-$300 range I'm happy with the camera. Room for improvement but isn't there always?
