Thanksgiving in the Florida Keys

I usually try and get out of family BS around the holidays.
So I took the wife to Key West. We drove down and that really sucked driving from Dallas.
I just do not like being away without having an arsenal in my car.
We spent time around Jupiter, the Everglades NP, Key Largo and Key West and lots of other Keys in between.
Here are some pics.

Five generations of my family are from Key West including me. Half of Key West was built by my father and grandfather. I lived there from 1979-1989. I have only been back once in 1999, but would love to go back and go fishing.

Why didnt you take plenty of guns?That Bahia Honda is one of my Lobstering and Stone crab spots.We would cook them in a pot with saltwater and beer next to the old bridge!

Thanks guys, it was one of the most relaxing trips I have taken accept for the drive there. Usually I am in the desert or moutains.
Skies were also perfect in the Keys. So I am planning on more trips down that way in the future.
