New Update! 2-13-2001
Ok well we're on week three of the old forums server saga.
Although the new hardware is all in, one of the drives is bad and a replacement should be here on Thursday. Software was also fouled up and is MIA. I think the plan will still be to go up and fix the Forums and upgrade a server or two as well. (you guys can all thank Ed Avila Sr for this)
More FUN INFO... I took a day off work (yes a whole DAY!) and worked on the forums to hopefully release a much "cleaner" and "traditional" interface for you. A number of fixes and such went into this upgrade too. AND I am trying very hard to get email notifications in before making this live. Worst case, those will come next.
The site will most likely go offline for a little today in order to push the changes up and test them. So I apologize in advance for this.
One last note, for those who didnt see this earlier. The dev site will soon be moving to http://dev.ar15.com so that those will firewall issues can get here without problem. It was never our intention of making this site publically available this early, but since its too late, what the hell...
The site is STILL a development site, well actually more of a staging server now, while we continue to develop the engine to run it.
Please keep this in mind and excuse us for the lack of information from the old site that is not here. Our goal is actually to push ahead and move the web side of the site to this format and replace AR15.Com soon. The 2 forums will probably stay (this one in development) until you guys are happy enough to switch.
More to come!

GoatBoy..will you be posting the move date in advance so we don't get left behind[:)] I can't go through forum withdrawal again.
Thanks for all your work. I hope your boss doesn't reat this thread[:D]
Yes it will DEFINITELY be made public here and we'll leave the port 1111 open as well (they will be the same site so it's just while everyone adjusts) and then it will go away... the goal is truley to remove the web side of ar15.com and not have to do this, but that means bringing over all the old web content. Then we'll just have the issue of the development forums...
And you are doing all this for FREE????

GOATBOY,
Thanks a million!! AR15.com Rules![:D]
To the people that don't like the new site...try HK91.com, GlockTalk, etc. They have NO problems at all on their website.[;)]
Thanks again Goatboy & Ed.

Goatboy,
I am having problems scrolling all the way to the right, and cannot finish reading a thread. In some instances the "New Reply" icon is not visible, or only the icon preceding the "New Reply" is visible. Please reduce window width.
Everything else is looking great.
Thanks very much for you tenacity in working on this board. Even though the board has to go through a few remodeling periods, its still like "coming home" when I had a successful login.
Good luck with your continued efforts.
Where is the forum specific of the AR producers (or better known Industrial Forum...)???
Thanks
PaoloAR15,
Click on the AR15.com logo on the upper left and then click on industries forum.
Hopes this helps.[:)]

Be Sure to check changes, as there is a Board/Forum navigator in the top right corner at all forum main pages...
