Shit like this:
https://www.the-sun.com/tech/11392865/farmer-mysterious-charred-space-object/ Yes. It's space junk. It has a 1/1.78trillion chance of hitting you and killing you. And with our space junk we get ANOTHER politically motivated attack on Elon Musk. Replace the words Elon Musk with "anyone at all we dislike even remotely.". Unpersoning people who don't kiss the liberal leftist ring in every single media engagement on all platforms at all times is why we are about to get a good look at what killing each other in the streets is like. And it's not because people want to attack Musk it's because almost everyone can clearly see the technocratic police state assassinating yet another person at the drop of a hat. |

In fact, I contend that WWIII is by far the more likely of the two. |

Foreign influence operations designed to subvert and divide both us and our allies. The only difference is the amount of time and the extent to which foreign adversaries have insinuated themselves into government and academia. When succeeding generations of all levels of students are indoctrinated that our country and everything it stands for is bad, the cumulative effect of that poison cannot help but become debilitating. What we are seeing is the result of that weakening.

View Quote Active, successful efforts by people who hate the US and want it to implode. Identifying them specifically, vs just saying "them", is what I've been asking us to do. So we can sift through the set of options, and maybe figure out what's going on. We've some really bright people here. Put 'em to work. But, to answer your question, this country is being intentionally destroyed. I would kill to bring back the America of the mid-80's. |

Screechjet, before he caught the banhammer, mentioned an academic group who did modelling on the likelihood of a civil war, given a bunch of parameters. This was in the context of the Thai difficulties of a few years ago. I remembered it ('cos that's what I do), and asked him about the specifics. No reply. Bummer. I do remember him at the time, saying the US, per that model, wasn't in danger of this. Wonder if shit's changed? |

I grew up as a child of the 80’s.
I kinda half assed paid attention to the news (read propaganda) back then about what was going on in Central America, the Phillipines, and some parts of Africa. The thing I remember most about those newscasts back then was that whatever rebellion force that was trying to overthrow the government….well…they always took over and occupied radio stations and TV stations first before taking the capital (capitol?) and dethroning the whatever president/prime minister they had. There’s a reason why those radio and TV stations were taken over. Attached File |
