I’m not talking total family. Like your wife’s car and your kids car you paid for.

You. Just you. That you and almost entirely you drive.

I have three. A car a truck and a motorcycle.

Two now, a truck and a roadster.
I used to also have a motorcycle, but I sold it - it's getting too dangerous on the road anymore (and I have been riding for 53 years).

7 motorcycles
4 trucks/suv
8 cars and 2 parts cars
and that doesn't count my Grumman aluminum cargo van project that's not operational yet.

I also own 3 40x60 garages in my back yard to store them all.

One, a car.

My wife and kids may drive them, but my name alone is on all the titles, so I own them. 4 SUVs and a motorcycle.

Working on getting more.
My carbon footprint is way too small.

If I insure them & my name is on the title then I own them. Whether they are paid off or whether I drive them is irrelevant...

More than half of respondents have >3 vehicles just for themselves, not including spouse/kids/etc.  Almost 25% have 5 or more personal vehicles.

Enough that I pay taxes quarterly, in a state that doesn't require a dealer license for having more than 10 vehicles, happily
all of the clerks office people know me by name

No it’s not. I’m talking what you drive. Any given day I may take any one of the three that are “mine”. I almost never drive my wife’s car. No matter if I “own” it or not. The question is how many are really “yours”. If you own and drive a Ferrari and you wife drives a Kia sorento….. come one. Which is yours even if your name is on the title……..

Adding another pickup this summer
Generators add to my piston index as well

The thread title is inaccurate then...

...based on your thread OP, I own (1) vehicle. The other (5) are someone else's problem to maintain & insure. Good to know

3- 1 SUV
   1 Pickup
   1 Jeep

I learned a long time ago to have a spare. My wife drives the SUV and sometimes the Pickup.

Thread titles are limited. The poll and the original post were pretty explanatory.

Car guys are like gun guys, either you get into it or it's just a tool.

I have a daily, a truck for towing, two off-road toys, two race cars, two bikes, a couple of spare body rollers, a few donor chassis, and several non running projects.

As far as the ones I use often would be three. Two motorcycles and one car.
