Haha I know, it's actually a brand new Russian wood set from a Maadi kit... The original wood was all beat up and carved into (very cool) but it was cracked and falling apart. So I threw the Russian set on instead, it's got a nice original golden color to it and I like it. I didn't refinish it at all. Originally Posted By ArmedFerret:

What did you end up doing to get the gas block on? Looks good.

3 hours of abrasive cloth with lots of fitting and attempts to press on.
Of course it figures I now need a 14x1lh die to chase the muzzle threads. A few got boogered with all the on/off testing. |

Nice build.....but.
Your selector stop is installed up-side-down. The small spacer between the trigger guard and the reciiver. The stop is suppose to be facing up. Just trying to help a brother out. |
