I have a 15 year old Kawasaki mule. Have never done shit to it but change the oil when it gets dark. Still runs like a champ. I think I have around 3000 hours of drive time on it

To me UTVs are something annoying kids drive around my neighborhood Maybe it's just because I grew up with stuff like the Banshee and Raptor. Attached File Attached File That being said, I've driven Kawasaki Mules extensively in several countries and I will say they generally didn't have a ton of issues, even when they were beat to hell with limited maintenance. Rangers, I wasn't terribly impressed with... they seem like rattletraps. |

Now that we are older we may prefer to have a heater and radio and steering wheel and 360 degree lighting and be able to legally operate on a paved road. |

Been loving the KRX so far. I think it might have a front camber issue but I'm not sure if 15deg inward tilt is normal or not.

I've been going back and forth on KRX vs RMAX for a while.
I think I'm leaning towards KRX right now. Next week might be different |

slight hijack - does anyone make a decently-powered & reliable ATV for small people (wife, 5'2") that's not totally "kid-ified"? As in not a 50/90/110/125.
It needs to fit in a 5' bed (tailgate down ok). Payload limitations negate the ATVs over 700#. |

I also have a 5'2" wife who can't really operate our normal size ATVs very well. |

I live literally in the middle f the Hatfield and McCoy Trail System.
You want to ride with the least amount of hassle and worrying about breakage? Kawasaki KRX 1000 Go fast? Can Am RR or the new Polaris, my buddies work on them more than they ride them though. |

I now have a Honda Pioneeer 500. Will do 40 mph. Not a fast machine but got it because it is a 50 inch machine with a real transmission and not a belt drive. Perfect for training my sled dogs. Basically a sxs version of the Honda Rancher. We use it for farm, sled dog training and fun riding. Kawasaki mule is a good machine for work but slower and I didn't want another belt machine for the sled dog training.
Attached File For winter use I have the Honda soft doors and a heater. Walker Evans racing shocks and 27 inch tires instead of the stock 24. sun visors and a gun rack above the rear window to carry the rifle for ground hog hunting. Early spring Michigan gravel and off road group ride Rain and low 30s. Doors and heater felt good. Wife would have really been bitching without those. Attached File |

Our only problem, we have to drive an hour each way to a dealer that is not Polaris. I’ve trailered stuff to get repaired many, many times. Been there, done that, not anymore.
I will need at least two seats and a bed. Just to use on around the farm and to hunt and mostly to haul Grandkids. |

Who has installed seat heaters in the rig? What brand did you buy? How was the install under the existing seat cover?
The wiring and switches will be easy in my Rmax, but I'm curious on how easy/hard it is to get them under the factory seat covers? Really don't want to mess those up. |
