looks damn nice.
And is perfect for my Krink and my AK-104. Hell, for my SVD, too. |

It does look nice. It was a little more pricey than I wanted it to be, however. I guess I miss out.

Just ordered 2 of those.
Third and last order this month. |

Had to wait to order mine till today since it was payday today. Now they are SOLD OUT - in 2 days?!! That sucks!
|

|
I snatched one up. Looking forward to it.

Thanks for the kudos guys! We were absolutely blown away by the response from our fans! While we'll never offer this exact version again it's possible that we'll look into another AK Sling for those that missed out.
Thanks, Stephen |

I'm glad they aren't going to make anymore of these slings. There clearly isn't any profit in these AK slings since they only sold out in a day. No sense in making more of an item nobody wants...

That said, I would totally buy more if they did another run. I think they won't make another run of these because they said these were a limited run, so people bought them with the expectation they were buying 1 of 500. If BFG makes more of the same (can't be that hard to find 500 AK slings or just the hook assembly) then they would be breaking their word. I suspect they are already in the drawing room designing the next version of the sling that won't be an exact dup of the original limited run. I'm still pissed I missed out having waited literally 1 day till my paycheck arrived... I hope BFG makes the next version with that leather tab - that's pretty kick ass! |

Just got my 2 slings in from BFG. Only took 12 days with priority mail.
Love the slings Cant stand postal efficiency |

Tagged for updates on another run of something similar.

I would also like to see a second run of these. I had planned on buying two, but they sold out too quickly.

Thanks for this, though it was a bit of a bummer that they weren't available during the Black Friday discount code window. I ordered a couple, since I waited too long on the first version.
Hopefully they'll come with some nice swag. |

Can the folks at BFG tell me why the AK stamping on my slings is illegible?
I ordered the original Vickers AK Sling in October and both were unreadable. Took an AK Class 2 weeks later and the guy sitting in front of me had one and I could read it clearly from my table. Returned the 2 and swapped them for the Version 2 and still the stamping is terrible. For the price of these things, they should be perfect. |

Hey guys, saw this thread and figured I would address the labels on our Limited Edition AK Slings.
When we set out on creating the Limited Edition AK Slings we wanted to do something radical. We wanted to combine retro / Russian-y elements common on the original Soviet slings with modern technology and materials. The stamp was part of this design. If you take a look at this AR15.com thread on AK canvas and slings many of the proof stamps were double struck, light struck, half on the webbing etc. We thought this was a interesting element though not the most functional and wanted to bring that to the LE AK Sling. To further achieve this - we got some BFG Team members that normally don't hang out on the production floor to literally go back there and hand stamp these slings! In short - yes some of the stamps were "busted" but on design. Unfortunately we don't have any to swap out for you but you can always return them if its not your style. Let us know if you need anything else! |
