I fish for them regularly. I use 1/8 ounce jig head with 3” tail, crank baits, and bobble and minnow. Indian Lake is one of the best Saugeye lakes.

There are 2-3 YouTube videos with Troy Becker doing a seminar at the Hog Trough at the Ohio Fishing expo that are worth checking out.

There's a guy on facebook (I know, I know...) named Doug Stewart in the Ohio Fishing Reports page that's constantly fishing for them on Buckeye lake.  He absolutely tears them up on powerbait minnows, typically using the 4" smelt color.  He posts a lot of info about water temp, depths, jig sizing, etc. so if you're on FB, you might go check out his posts.

Yep, I used to use a bobber and live leeches at the spill way short lead. Then cast it top of rapids in the runoff catch lots if saugeye and walleye when I was akid like this. At Indian lake I haven't fished it in over 20 years hard to tell if it's good anymore.
