Did something happen in the last few hours ?
Russia is going to win why would they drop a nuke.. Eventually peace talks will happen ...you can bank on that and Russia will keep what they have taken in territory. Bottom line Ukraine will run out of soldiers to fight this war and Russia won't. |

My neighbor was freaking out about this last night. I calmed her down and said Russia has already won the war so need to nuke. I explained that the logical conclusion would be taking more territory before negotiating peace. Neither thing a Ukrainian wants to hear. We're on the top floor facing West so I'll miss the bloom if it happens.

I can't see it happening vs Ukraine. NATO directly entering the conflict and launching a massive air campaign could trigger low yield stuff to get used, and no US president wants to have to decide whether to samson option cities over that. So I don't see them hitting the button when deterrence is doing its job

Why do you think it'll be in Ukraine? They want to occupy Ukraine for the location, crops, etc, not poison it in their backyard.
Might be dirty bomb or similar somewhere else in the middle East to draw attention away from Ukraine conflict |

Russia is stupid enough to try, which is why I put chances of it happening greater than zero. Consider the following: They were stupid enough to invade the Donbass in 2014, and then stupid enough to try and take all of Ukraine in 2022.
