If Pitt wasnt in on it, then how did Clooney even know about the game?  its not like celebrity backroom card games are advertised on craigslist.

I got the impression that Clooney had a reasonably good idea on where he could find everyone in his crew because of the relationships they all established over the years, and he most likely checked a few common places until he found Pitt. Because he and Pitt had worked confidence games before, they immediately started working the room together like they always did and Clooney walked out with some cash.

I’m still trying to figure out why Rusty lifted his face shield while walking through the casino taking the cash out to the SWAT van.  Aren’t their cameras everywhere?

I'm guessing because it's a movie, and a good adventure thriller at that....no matter how unrealistic it is.

He asked Bernie Mac where "he" was, and Mac said last he heard, he was teaching actors how to play poker.  Since they obviously pulled jobs before, Clooney probably knew where he was.  So when he got there, he joined in the game.  When Pitt came back in the room, I think he set it up so Clooney could take all the rich actors money, since they were a bunch of dumb assess.  Great scene by the way.

One of my favorite movies ever. The one liners and the way the actors play off of eachother, and genuinely seem to enjoy it, is exceptional.

No shit? Skin cancer. Did you send flowers? I dated his wife for awhile.

Frank Sinatra (Danny Ocean) knew all the heist members from serving togethor in WWII, in the 82nd Airborne Division.
Even Sammy Davis Jr, although I don't think any African Americans were in the 82nd, as troops were still segregated. But Sammy was Jewish, so maybe he worked that angle?

Was just in Vegas for a conference a few weeks ago. We had just watched Oceans 11 (I was in the Paris Hotel) but I made sure I got a video of the fountains for my daughter.

" Look, we all go way back and uh, I owe you from the thing with the guy in the place and I'll never forget it."
