Different job, so new tool. Not better in every case, but maybe better enough in some to be a good idea. Heavier ammo than the 240, longer range than the 50 - but less punch than the 50 for vehicles.

Cool. A MEDIUM machine gun. It actually would be useful in a lot of roles but i don’t see it replacing the M2 in many situations.

If I remember right it gives the users like 70-80 percent of the capability at signficant lower weight, so you are more likely to bring it with you when foot mobile than the M2. |
