I think the non stick ones have the same issue, the cold egg sucks the heat out of the pan and relies on the stove to complete the cook. You want something that has a lot of thermal mass so the white cooks fast, before the yolk starts to set.

Nah. Just smash the yolks and cook it all together. No toast to pick up the yolk sucks!

Even without toast the yolk is better runny!

Yeah, but the toast is still necessary. Or a muffin or something. Otherwise I end up trying to lick the yoke off the plate. If I can't have toast etc., scrambled is the answer.

I really got into paintball when I was stationed in NY. We even had a course on post. We were playing multiple times a week. Going through a case of balls a week at times. My roommate was getting out of the Army and we invited him out to play. He got destroyed by this one guy's wife. She flanked him and lit him up at point-blank range. For the next 2 months that he was around, he still had marks all over his ribs and back.

Negative. You need a runny yolk so you can soak it up with some buttered sourdough toast.

400 views on my sale post and not one inquiry about the item for sale.

Haha.

I played a lot in my younger years and stopped around when I found out about my son.

Now he's old enough to enjoy it, I have the seniority to have the days off, and so I've been easing him in but he's getting into it and I'm excited.

Sorry I've been absent for a while. Traveling, kids sports, excuse, excuse...

I spent some time recently working on packaging for my knives. I'm inching closer towards selling them so I figured some time invested in coming up with decent packaging will be worth it. Here's what I've come up with so far. I may change up the insert material but it's a start. I'm also thinking of removing the "grip holes" in the insert. They look big but any smaller and finger tips can't get in there so I may just eliminate them and let the buyer turn the box over to get the knife out.

I've also been working on replacement handle scale designs for some inexpensive Cold Steel knives that will be made from much nicer materials than the molded plastic and will allow the use of the Spyderco standard wire clip on either side. It was a project thought up by a friend and given to me to bring to life. I will likely machine out a few sets over the next week or two.

Keep the grip holes. I hate it when something is fitted really well in there and you can't get it out and there's always the chance of butter fingering it all if you have to flip the package over.
