I always got a weird look first time I go to an indoor range with the golf travel case. They get it when you open the case and it has 2 or 3 SBR's and several pistols. It's that Aha look on the face. If you can find a laptop bag, not a "backpack" for a wide screen laptop that is wide enough to separate upper from lower it works great. Only for SBR or Pistol AR. Went to PSA in Myrtle Beach To see if they had a 51 t flashider For AAC SDN- 6 for a 556 barrel. I wanted to compare it with the one from an original AAC 300 BO. I told clerk I would be back in a minute to compare them. When I came back he had one of the managers there that had been with PSA for a while. I laid the case up on the counter unzipped it and pulled the upper out. He looked at me and said, I have never seen anyone bring an AR into the store or range in a computer bag. I then pulled out the SDN 6 from one of the pockets that were lined all round the case. I then showed him all the mags that were in the pockets. 6 or 8 I believe. Yes, they were all empty. The upper also had a 1X6 Vortex on it. Told him I didn't see the point of advertising I was carrying a gun when I walk out of my house. All about being discreet. All My AR's reside in laptop cases. One of my cases came from work, one was new, and the best one of all came out of a military surplus store. I paid 20 bucks for the golf case. The guy that purchased it had to cancel his trip. Never used it. The key was still taped to the lid inside.
