4000rpm 25hp main with .001deg positioning, 15hp 4000rpm sub, 5hp live tools and 100psi coolant.  10 & 6 inch chucks.  Spindles can be synched for full speed part transfers.

Now I gotta pull some wire and clean up the others for sale.

What kind of business are you planning on putting through that thing?
Set it up with a bar feeder and crank out some suppressor parts.
We've been getting quotes for similar (new) equipment for some funky castings we are quoting.

I do a lot of 1144SP.  They used to get turned on a QT15 then milled on a Fadal.  Now....1 and done MFers!

Baffles are project #2, after migrating the paying work to this.  I have an open F1 waiting.

Who are you quoting other than Mazak?  Ive always wanted an Okuma, but for what I do Mazatrol is pretty damn nice.

Haas, Mazak, Okuma
Have (or have had) other machines from these and others in the shop.
Brother, Mitsubishi, Kiwa, Mori, Fadal, Enshu, Takisawa, Toyoda

If you are feeling froggy, buy you a small UR cobot and run that thing around the clock.
Initial setup and programming is cake, have done it myself.
Or pay the neighbor kid $10 an hour to feed it.

I don't even know what in hell a  "full speed parts transfer"  IS.

Used to have  an old Craftsman/ Atlas  12" X48, had some fun,  now I have a  (mistake) 9"  SB  I think it's a 36"  bed.  I was going to jack up  the head/ tailstock and convert it to 12" but never did

Your supervision appears to be melting into the concrete.

They've been known to do that.

Holy flashbacks...

I've replaced every ballscrew, trucks, axis and spindle drives, spindles, and robots (GL 150's) on those things. When the spindles shit the bed, do the integral motors at the same time. Live tooling is a piggy back drive and the C axis scale and drive tuning is gay at best.

The sub transfer and sub work programming was odd in Mazatrol from what I remember. I probably have good notes on that - somewhere.

G code option was needed for production, but mazatrol is pretty cool for making low volume parts "crash proof" by properly defining chuck, jaw and tool definitions.

This. I am guessing about 60 amps at 480. 200 plus for split phase 240.

Nice. I got to rebuild the table/tool changer on one of those last year. Not a bad piece of equipment to work on.
