I'm 52.  I've had gums that easily bleed since I was a kid.  No amount of brushing or flossing with any kind of toothpaste helps.  I see the dentist every 3 months instead of 6.  Bleed like a stuck pig.  No pain or swelling and my teeth are fine, no cavities.

Is there a solution to this out there?  I don't know what else to try.

Hey, just a quick couple of suggestions.

Definitely review your nutritional situation.  I recommend the following daily supplements as a starting point for most healthy adults:
3000mg vitamin C
5000iu vitamin D
200iu vitamin E
"B 50" B complex
3000mg omega 3s - this is combined DHA+EPA and you'll need to read some labels to figure out how many of which type of capsules you want to buy/take.  Even if you struggle to do so work hard to get over the minimum of 1000mg DHA+EPA

@Cooper1

Also meant to add rinsing/brushing with hydrogen peroxide can be very helpful ~start around 50:50 mixed with water.

if you still have any wisdom teeth, get them removed. even if not impacted, they can cause disease in the gums

I used to get blood every couple weeks. I started using a xylitol toothpaste and i haven't had any blood since.

Have you tried Stim-U-Dents? Dental plaque is a biofilm containing waste products (toxins) from oral bacteria, and is thought to cause gingivitis. It needs to be removed daily.

I use Stim-U-Dents, in conjunction with toothpaste and/or baking soda, to remove plaque from between teeth. Dental floss can also be used. If you haven’t tried them, consider getting some and trying them. In my experience, it takes about 2-4 weeks to clear up gingivitis.

I struggled with gingivitis/bleeding gums off and on for probably decades, until I learned how to remove plaque from my teeth. No more bleeding gums. A dentist taught me about this. It needs to be done at least daily. “It’s a process, not an event.”

If you have success with Stim-U-Dents, ask your dentist to order a case for you from a dental supply company. They’re much cheaper that way.
