Highly unusual for this AO so early in the morning. Nothing but a 7/11 open at this time around here and no schools open.
They are looking real hard for somebody I guess |

I get that here in Largo every six months or so. On the some kid on the run claimed my driveway gate, ran behind my garage, and crashed through my back yard gate. It was just a makeshift vinal fence panel gate to isolate the swimming pool. He limped away the way he came, slow enough for me to catch a glimpse as he retreated down my driveway. Deputies got him. My gate is pool gate is now 7 feet of wood planks connected to 4x4s. Most kids will bounce off now.

Neighbor said he heard a bunch of sirens around 4:45 which woke him up.
It's like a ghost town around here at that time of the morning. Either the 7/11 got robbed or there was a break-in at one of the businesses nearby. There is an ABC liquor store across the street from it and it is a sizeable store. Don't no for sure, just assuming at this point. |

I understand it was some sort of high speed chase and the suspect(s) ditched the car very close to here, took off on foot. They were not caught.

Skeeter spraying? Down in the Keys they use invisible pellets of some kind and not from a long boom sprayer. Makes a pass back and forth about 50 ft intervals...

 Of course, if you don't occasionally prove you need it by flying it, you risk losing funds, equipment, and manpower. Then it'll be total anarchy, you'll all be on your own, and you'll wish you had us then. You just wait and see... |

Remember when I lived in NYC once in a while you'd see an NYPD chopper just hovering over the city in one spot for hours and hours. Not moving just hovering perfectly in one spot.
Curious thing is you'd see a long line running down from it to the ground. Any guesses? Fuel line to let the chopper just sit there that long? Pretty certain it wasn't a rappel or lift line. NYPD doesn't do those, nor do I suspect they'd be doing it from what looked like damn near 2000' altitude. |
