I’m interested in hearing what y’all do to manage your sling for easy recovery from your units weapon stand.
I was considering Ranger bands but want to know what y'all use. |

Not a cop but here's a couple that look good.
https://theneomag.com/shop/sentry-strap/ https://defensedistributors.com/product/sling-retention-strap/ I think T-rex Arms make one also. |

I used to just use cut up strips of bicycle inner tubes.
Now I use the Defense Mechanisms sling. Works well. https://defensemechanisms.com/rifle-sling/ |

another vote for the sentry strap. expensive, but i dont mind supporting a smaller company. if you want a cheaper option, warhorse concepts makes a similar piece for sling management at a cheaper price.

I make my own out of those tarp straps that are a bungee loop with a plastic ball on the end.

I use a rubber band. When I grab the sling, it pops off.

Simple single point sling solution with setina rifle racks. YMMV if using a different lock.
Loop the sling with a bight along the rail/ hand guard. (Should come up from the rear attachment towards the muzzle and then flip back down). Secure the whole sling and hand guard in the handcuff style lock. To deploy, unlock the rack, grab the hand guard and sling together, and remove the rifle. Immediately don and charge. No snags. Completely free. |

Rubber bands or hair ties.

Fold sling over itself and secure with blue painters tape. To deploy pull sling and the tape rips away

I’ve used the neo-mag one and liked it. Went to a simpler set up with the BFG one.

Centrifuge Training Sling on my patrol rifle. It's the best solution I've used for deploying a rifle from the rack and not having the sling snag my coffee, flashlight, or whatever else I have stuffed between the seats. Once you have it setup you can run the charging handle and safety with the sling snugged to the rifle, yet deploy the sling quickly.

Have you looked at the VTAC street fighter sling? It has management built in. Just picked one up and I really like it.

My entire shift runs ranger bands for sling management. Cheap and does the trick.

I pull the loose bit of the sling through the front sight block.
Not really secure but good enough for the rack. Single point btw. |
