You'll see a great show. Saw them in 2019 in Atlanta with Deep Purple. Robb Halford was awesome. As good as he was when I saw him in early 80s.

Doesn’t look very full

Judas Priest is one of only two shows I ever walked out of early in the 100+ concerts I've been to. Hope your show is better OP.

Is that guy in the blue Nephlim?

JP is one of my favorite bands, but they're old. Halford is not performing very well on this tour.

The last JP concert I went to looked nothing like that.
Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Saxon. Moody Colloseum in Dallas. 81 or 82. I saw a legit murder in the parking lot after the show. It was magical. |

Bring a laptop and play Hearts of Iron IV on it while listening to Sabaton.
Better yet, a desktop and generator. |

I worked a few concerts of theirs back in 80 or 81.
Halford was always a miserable person to everyone around him. To this day I can’t stand them because of him. |

I have no useful skills, therefore I supervise.

This is NO dress rehearsal, we ARE professionals, and this IS the big time.

I will wait until they discount to $45 including the blue light special geezer grotto buffet. They better not go cheap on me with the yellow because it’s my favorite. If they do I might break the law.

I saw this concert recently. Sabaton sounded great. There was an 11 year old kid in the front row that the lead singer talked to. How old?... how many concerts have you been to?, etc. The crowd cheered for the kid when he said something like 53, and then the lead singer gave the kid the Aviator looking sunglasses he was wearing to him. At the end of the show the drummer came over to the front of the stage and handed the kid his drumsticks. As the opening act they only got to play one hour. I wish they could have gone on for 2 plus. Judas Priest stage items started to come out as the Sabaton stuff was wheeled behind the backdrop, and me and my son headed for the door.
I never cared for Judas Priest, the tone of his voice irritates me. Just something about it I can't stand. I saw them play as an opening act along with Queensryche in 2000 on Iron Maiden's Brave New World tour. Queensryche knocked out some of the newer stuff they had out, then played some from the Operation: Mindcrime album. They sounded great and it was good to see them at a large venue vs. the smaller ones that I had seen them play. Judas Priest came on stage after the equipment was ready. I lasted through one song. It was nothing but shrieking and a repetitive guitar chorus, it made my ears hurt. I went back out to the parking lot and had a couple beers in the back of my truck. Their playtime was over, and I headed back inside for 2.5 hours of Iron Maiden. Mr. Dickinson and his friends sounded great, in tune and in speed. I will never sit through a Judas Priest concert. |
